greetings, dear family and friends, and welcome to the triforce**! this is our first attempt at a family blog in an effort to keep you all informed of what's up in our world. oh yes, we stole the idea from our good friends, the reinholdts. their blog is fantastic and allows us to keep up with them since we moved away from dear bar harbor (we miss you guys).
Arwyn's first birthday was last wednesday, and we had a little party yesterday to celebrate the occasion. she had a great time and i've included some footage below of her eating her birthday cake(s) below to prove it! thanks to everyone who made the trip for making it a very memorable and fun time for us. for those who couldn't make it, we hope to see you soon. you're always welcome to visit!
i should also mention that Arwyn is taking some great strides towards becoming much more mobile (oh, the horror!). as proof of that, here's a clip from friday night demonstrating her ever-increasing prowess in walking. i warn you, it's pretty darned cute:
**why the triforce, you ask? well, there are three of us (excluding our numerous pets), and it also handily references our favorite (and the all-time best) video game series, The Legend of Zelda, and the ever-important Triforce.

Arwyn is getting so BIG!!!!! Looks like she had a really good time at her party. Sorry we couldn't be there. Hope to see you guys soon.
She is doing very well and seems to enjoy walking :)

The blog is great!!!! I sent it to some of my friends so they could see how big she is getting...start putting everything up really high and getting locks for the cupboards
